Chelsea’s Emerson says injury ‘nothing serious’ after Italy win

Chelsea full-back Emerson gets attracted to social media to state his injury”isn’t anything serious”, after he limped off throughout Italy’s 2-1 win over Finland on Sunday evening.
The 25-year-old, who has started all of Chelsea’s matches in the Premier League so far this year, hobbled off by eight minutes after appearing to injure his Travels, gone from the Euro 2020 qualifier.
However, Emerson tweeted following the match to reassure fans.
“Very important success today men,” he explained. “Regrettably I had a small injury, but it is nothing serious. Let’s continue in this way!”
Italy boss Roberto Mancini also verified he replaced Emerson just because of precaution, saying after the game:’It was not anything serious, he stopped to ensure it didn’t get any worse.”
Emerson’s Chelsea team-mate Jorginho scored the winning goal for Italy as his punishment cancelled out Norwich’s Pukki’s second-half spot-kick.
