Where are my Game of Thrones stakes!!?? Throughout the place actually, many sportsbooks are taking bets on the final season of HBO’s award winning series Game of Thrones, with the season premiere airing at 9:00 p.m. ET on Sunday April 14.
We break the chances and some of the proposition bets available, out of who’ll rule Westeros to who will die. And we throw our helm into the ring with some predictions.
Keep in mind the wording might differ and that based on your own sportsbook, odds and choices may fluctuate greatly for these sort of stakes. For example some books say”Who will rule Westeros at the end of Season 8?” While some specify”Who will sit on the Iron Throne?”
Also, obvious spoilers (from the A Song of Ice and Fire book series written by George R.R Martin and the series ) are under but if you’re looking into wagering on the show, we are guessing you want to be current on all of the GoT content available.
RULER OF WESTEROS AT END OF SEASON 8
Bran Stark +200
Daenerys Targaryen +275
Jon Snow +350
Sansa Stark +450
Gendry +500
Arya Stark +800
The Night King +800
Tyrion Lannister +900
Varys +1200
Jaime Lannister +1400
Samwell Tarly +1600
Cersei Lannister +2200
Euron Greyjoy +2800
Davos +5000
Analysis: This is the large bet, and also the number one issue individuals are currently requesting. I am not certain if there will be any one ruler on the throne at the end however, I don’t think it’s going to be Bran even when there’s. The newest Three Eyed Raven could be among the most effective people in Westeros but he’s stated that his birthright has become irrelevent and he is not Lord Stark anymore, which probably means he has no inclination to be King Stark either.
Out of all the characters on the series Daenerys desires the throne that the most. But she’s shown questionable. With her taking a twist near the series’ close I could observe a twist. If she believes and finds out the facts about Jon Snow’s parentage he is hoping to steal what she sees as her birthright. The Mother of Dragons will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the war against the White Walkers however she might not be the ideal candidate to lead Westeros after.
My cash is on Jon Snow. He has been one of the chief personalities from day one and that which seems to be adding up for him to function as the prototypical hero: he rose from the dead, reconquered Winterfell, has the support of many of the most powerful families in the Seven Kingdoms, is knocking boots with Daenarys and is the son of the late goddess, Rhaegar Targaryen. The payout in +350 for Jon Stargaryeon isn’t too shabby.
